Hey Everyone! Sorry that it's taken a couple weeks to get more photos and updates posted; We've been some traveling fools! The week after meeting Joe's brother, Walker, we took off to meet Sarah's side up in DC and Maryland. Joe did great during the car rides and was seemingly very happy to be hanging out with all the grandmothers, his uncle Evo and friends of ours. Grandpa Rob taught Joe the finer things in life, like classical music and pizza dinners. Can't go wrong there, but Uncle Bill recommended Led Zeppelin and AC/DC instead. Pete's New Haven Apizza. They have a couple locations, so getting to one shouldn't be an issue. Not eating the whole pizza in 5 minutes might be. It was Joe's first DC restaurant experience and we all had a great time. We toured the Jefferson and Roosevelt Memorials with Uncle Evo. It was quite a hot day, but Mama Sarah was glad to get out and see some daylight. We also visited family in Rockville one afternoon. Everyone was very impressed with Joe and his stunning good looks. What a guy! Overall, we had a great time visiting the family to the north. Sarah and Frank got some rest and Grandma Sharon got to keep her hands on her first grandchild all she wanted.
After a couple days home, we took off to see Walker again, along with introducing Joe to Uncle Scott. While a short trip, (Joe was a little fussy on the car ride down. He'd had it with car seats, It think) we still had a great time seeing everyone.
Posted are the pics from the last couple of weeks. Joe is doing great and getting bigger every day. It's hard to believe he's over 5 weeks old already! He's healthy and happy, as you'll see in some pictures where he's been practicing his smile for us. You can see the personality blossoming slowly but surely, and we can't wait for what the future holds!
