A good day!

Now that our whirlwind of traveling is over, we have a chance to get into a little bit of a routine. Today we had a break from the heat and napped on the couch during a thunderstorm, then did some playing! Joe is getting stronger at holding his head up, so we tried some tummytime. He was intent on sucking on his arm, as usual, but we were also able to get him interested in looking at himself in the mirror (when he wasn't sliding backwards off the Boppy). He also spent some time in his bouncy seat. The lights, sound and vibrations are a little overwhelming for him at this point; thankfully he is pretty content to just sit there & look around. At this point, we were feeling brave so we went for a walk in the rain! The stroller has a great canopy so Joe was dry, and the snuggler kept him cozy. Here's hoping that the calmness of the day lasts well into the night!
