Two Months!

Joe turned 2 months old last week! It's an exciting milestone which is celebrated with the giving of vaccinations. Boooo. Joe's normally tough guy resilience was thwarted by the drugs. He did not want to be moved at all, but luckily the position he picked was sweet & snuggly.
The fever is making me delirious; I usually recoil at Dad's furry chest.
The next day, he was willing to sit for a photo session. Joe is clearly exploring a range of emotions in his newfound maturity, because smiles and giggles were in short supply. Check out these mugs:

Looks like we're dealing with quite a character, huh?

Finally!

You would think that with all this time at home, I'd have done this already, but I FINALLY added the last of the BlackBerry Belly Pictures to the album. You've seen most of them before, but if you are itching to make a flip book of the pregnancy or something, click here!

What time is it? TUMMY TIME!

Hello, friends & family!

What's that on the wall?

Never mind, let me tell you, things are pretty sweet for me these days.

First of all, my hair is filling in on top. Can you tell?
And to add to my manliness, I'm getting pretty strong neck muscles...
.. but it's kinda hard to get everything working right all at once. Pardon the drool.

I've also got this sweet curl on the top of my head, can you see it?

Although sometimes I get wistful, longing for the days when life was  simpler & people held my head up for me. Sigh.

What is that on the wall over there?

Maybe if I taunt it, it will stop distracting me.

I've got my turtle impression nailed,

and am ready to laugh if you want to tell me a joke, or
or say "Yikes!" about how you got stuck in traffic today.
Is that thing back on the wall?
Now it's taunting me?

Gotta go take care of some business, now.  Enjoy this video.

Six Weeks - I Sleep. And Eat. And Other Things.

We had lots of visitors over the last couple weeks. Aunt Lorri, Uncle Tom, cousins Maggie and David all came from Virginia to meet Joe and bring food for Mom and Dad. Sweet deal! Aunt Alicia from Annapolis also came to visit. All these nice people were great to Joe and couldn't keep their hands off him. The cousins drew pictures for him and were very nice to Joe. I think he liked them. Mom has been cleared to exercise again, so watch out! You'll probably see her running past you at some point soon! Mom also took Joe to a baby massage class with Aunt Debbie, Uncle Kevin, Daphne, Aunt Laura and Eliza. Mom will have to explain that one because Dad was not able to attend. Maybe he was busy with that mustache.

Joe is doing great. He seems to get bigger and bigger everyday. Luckily, Mom is a great photographer and has been taking lots and lots of pictures for us to remember these great, but sleep deprived days (and nights!). Joe is a great model (maybe its because he REALLY loves his mommy) and is usually willing to take a few tries in order to get that right Glamour Shot. He's quiet the looker, if we do say so ourselves.

Walker has started football practice and is excited to be entering the 7th grade soon. We are confident that he will do great in both. He better. He's spent his summer at the beach, on the football field, with friends and generally having one of the easiest lives ever. Seriously. He's 12. What pressure?

Here are some nice pictures for everyone to enjoy! Thanks for checking in on us all! Thanks again to everyone who has helped on way or another. We are fortunate people! Come back next week for more action. We have some hot parties to attend this week, including our first birthday party not for an adult!!
